Lazio assistant coach Farris on winning at Hellas Verona: Achieved with real heart

Lazio assistant coach Massimiliano Farris praised the attitude of his players for their 1-0 win at Hellas Verona.

Sergej Milinkovic-Savic struck the only goal of the day.

“You don't win this game with a single episode, the team played well and with our hearts. I am proud to be here to guide this team, we believed we could make it until the end, and we never gave up," Farris, who stepped in for coach Simone Inzaghi as he's forced into self-isolation, told DAZN.

“Milinkovic scored a fantastic goal. We need his physical strength to win duels, and his presence inside the box is crucial. He scored one of his classic goals.

“[Ciro] Immobile is unlucky lately. He's done so much for Lazio, and everyone in the dressing room loves him.

“Today's performance was great. He hit the post too. We miss his goals, but we are sure he will help us in the final part of the season."
