Ezequiel Lavezzi is happy for the fans after Napoli clinched Champions League qualification last night.

The 1-1 result with Inter Milan sparked a huge celebration at the San Paolo, as they go straight into Europe's top competition after a 21-year absence.

"At the end we felt the stress of all the games we played throughout the year, but we achieved the objective that hasn't been enjoyed for a long time. This city deserves it and these fans belong in the Champions League," said 'Pocho.'

"I'm happy for the lads and all the sacrifices we have made throughout the year. It's time to thank the medical and kit staff, everyone behind the scenes who have helped us to get through the season with a squad that wasn't too big."
