Blackpool have taken Latvia international midfielder Aleksandrs Cauna on trial with a view to a possible loan move, reports Sky Sports. Cauna currently plays for Skonto Riga in his homeland and has linked up with Premier League new boys Blackpool ahead of the close of the transfer window.
The 22-year-old is due to feature for the Seasiders' reserves against Morecambe on Wednesday evening.
He has previous experience of English football after spending a few months on loan at Watford during the 2008/09 season.
