Late Dundee Utd winner dumps Rangers out of Scottish cup

Rangers hopes of a domestic treble lie in tatters after a 1-0 away defeat to Dundee United in the quarter finals of the Scottish Cup. United were dominant for most of the game and fully deserved their victory.

Rangers made seven changes from Sunday's Co-operative Insurance Cup final win but it was Dundee who made all the running.

David Goodwillie had the ball in the net, only to be flagged offside.

However, David Robertson's last-minute scrambled effort did count to book the Tangerines a place in the last four and a meeting with Raith Rovers.
