Las Palmas coach Javi Garcia Pimienta has enjoyed a pop at Barcelona president Joan Laporta.

It's two years since Garcia Pimienta was sacked as Barca B coach by Laporta.

Ahead of tomorrow's LaLiga clash with the Blaugrana, Garcia Pimienta said: "A lot of time has passed since that.

"I have not contacted Laporta again but I want to thank him because thanks to that decision I am here. I had the opportunity to come to Las Palmas after six months and it is an unbeatable story for me.

"I am very comfortable and I feel very loved in the ideal place."

He also said: "I really don't know how I'm going to feel, but we are preparing it exactly like the rest of the games, with the handicap that perhaps we have the ball less than we would like, but we have to be brave, be protagonists, because if we come behind we will surely not get anything."
