Former Barcelona president Joan Laporta says the club must call a new election following Sandro Rosell's dramatic resignation.
New Barca president Josep Maria Bartomeu has ruled out calling a new ballot.
But Laporta says: "Following Rosell's resignation, I think that the current Barça president, faced with the exceptional circumstances brought about by a lack of legitimacy - because he was not voted in by members -, should call elections at the end of the season, for the good of the club."
