Former Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is being linked with a move to MLS.

TopBin90 reports Lampard has held talks with Charlotte FC about the head coaching job.

Former Aston Villa boss Dean Smith has also been interviewed for the position.

Both managers are available having left their previous jobs at the end of last season.

Charlotte are expected to make a final decision in a fortnight's time.
