Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard heaped praise on Connor Clifford after seeing the youngster score in their FA Youth Cup win over Nottingham Forest.

Clifford won praise from Blues coach Dermot Drummy in midweek for his goal scoring performance and Lampard agrees.

He told chelseafc.com: "He's a very good player and I think he has scored a few of those this season, and that was another great strike."
