Frank Lampard will be ready for the first day of preseason training at Chelsea.

The England midfielder was ruled out of Euro 2012 after pulling up in training in the build-up to the finals in Poland and Ukraine.

However, the 33-year-old has recovered and is raring to go ahead of the new season.

Blues boss Roberto Di Matteo said: "I am expecting him to return healthy and fit.

"He's feeling very good and looking forward to next season."
