Chelsea will be without dynamic midfielder N'Golo Kante for Wednesday's clash crunch with Leicester City.
The Frenchman was suspended for the win over Fulham last weekend but his return has been delayed by a niggling hamstring issue.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference, manager Frank Lampard said: "Andreas Christensen's available, and N'Golo Kante, unfortunately, isn't, his hamstring isn't ready."
The news comes as a blow for the Blues, who are in seventh position and six points behind Brendan Rodgers' Leicester side.
