Frank Lampard is confident Chelsea captain John Terry will bounce back from his penalty shootout heartbreak.
"Because he cares so much it will be a frustrating summer for him, and that is how it should be because he wants to win.
"He'll come back stronger. Everyone saw John was inconsolable because he cares as much as anyone, if not more than anyone at the club.
"He's the sort of character you want next to you in the team. I like to see someone care like that. I have been through that in the World Cup and know how much it hurts.
"Afterwards I was trying to say to John that it is a game of football. It does not sound much consolation at the minute.
"I was talking to him as we went around the fans. I can probably speak better than anyone at the moment that this is a game of football and there are more important things in life."
