Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert has praised his predecessor Alex McLeish for capturing Australia winger Brett Holman from AZ Alkmaar. He said: "If Alex McLeish scouted Brett, then it's great credit to him because he's doing great for the club this season.
"Aston Villa are fortunate to have him. He's got energy to burn. I'm really happy with the way he's playing.
"If he keeps going the way he is, he's going to have a really good season. He's got a great desire for the game, a great enthusiasm for the game which is important."
