Real Madrid legend Hugo Sanchez says they shouldn't blink when it comes to paying a world record fee for Kylian Mbappe.

There's suggestions Real have opened fresh talks with Monaco about a deal for Mbappe in the range of €100-160m

"If you talk about such prices it is because the market is at that level, I like the market at these levels because it means that we are improving," said Sanchez.

Valencia icon Mario Kempes, however, believes Mbappe's valuation is over the top given he's not achieved anything in the game.

The Argentine stated Mbappe was a "wonderful boy" but still "has not won anything and was not nominated for prizes", making it "very difficult to classify him as one of the greats, though possibly he is".
