Alexandre Lacazette is happy he stayed with Arsenal.

The striker revealed the Gunners refused to consider his sale over the summer.

He said, "I needed the next step. A few years ago, I spoke to Arsenal but it was not a good time. When they came, I was so happy and the discussion with Arsenal and the club was so fast and with me it was so fast.

"I'm happy because I know the championship now, I know the players, my teammates. The club is happy because this summer, they did not want to sell me; they told me we are happy to count you on the team."
