LA Galaxy midfielder David Beckham has revealed he has stress fractures in his back.
The 36-year old English veteran has missed the past two Galaxy outings with a 'slight' stress fracture in his spine but insists it is not a big deal and he will be back sooner rather than later.
I'm not sure yet," Beckham said of when he will return. "I'm going to see how it reacts. I've had a lot of a treatment, a lot of work done. Hopefully it reacts in the right way.
"I don't know whether it's an old injury or a new injury, it's one of those things that just flared up. It's not a big problem. I'm back with the guys training. The pain 10 days ago was bad. I hate missing the guys, I hate missing training, so it's been a miserable couple of weeks."
