David Beckham is unlikely to be given permission to fly back to England for an upcoming testimonial for an old teammate.
The LA Galaxy star has been invited by former Manchester United mate Gary Neville for his tribute match at Old Trafford on May 24 but will not be able to play because of club duties the day after.
Beckham has already traveled back to the UK during this season when he attended the Royal Wedding between Prince William and Kate Middleton in London on April 29 and a Galaxy insider reportedly told The Sun that Becks will not be able to head back for Neville's testimonial.
"There is no way he can be allowed back to Europe this time," said the insider.
The Galaxy take on Houston Dynamo at The Home Depot Center the following day which would make it very tricky for Beckham to get back to California in time.
