Kuyt hoping Liverpool hand Dalglish permanent job

Dirk Kuyt has backed calls for Kenny Dalglish to be made Liverpool manager long-term.

Kuyt says Anfield has been lifted by Dalglish's appointment.

Asked about calls to hand the 59-year-old the position on a permanent basis, Kuyt added: "I think if you only look at the results and mood of the players, I'd have to agree with that."

The Reds now sit sixth in the Premier League standings.
