Liverpool attacker Dirk Kuyt feels he's now showing his best form since arriving at Anfield.
He has carried on from his 15-goal haul last season, his best at Anfield, by bagging four in his last eight appearances.
"After last season, I felt very positive coming into the new campaign and to score four goals already at this stage of the season gives me a good feeling," he told the Mirror.
"The last few months have carried on from last season for me. I feel really confident every time I play. The confidence from the manager and my team-mates rubs off.
"The players know each other better now and that also helps you feel better about your game and linking up with them.
"Of course, there is still a lot of room for improvement for both myself and the team, but I've taken a lot of confidence from the start of this season already.
"I've played in every game, apart from the Carling Cup game at Leeds. Now I just want to try and be better than I was last season. I want to give everything I can for the club."
