Dirk Kuyt was delighted for Liverpool teammate and fellow Dutchman Ryan Babel after his goal scoring cameo performance against Arsenal on Tuesday night.

Kuyt said: "It was really nice for Ryan. I think he just missed out from starting, so it was extra nice for him to make such an impact coming on late in the game.

"It was an incredible evening, but after those two draws last week something was always going to happen."
