Kuyt admits Liverpool desperate to rumble Man Utd title push

Dirk Kuyt admits Liverpool are desperate to stop Manchester United's run to another Premiership title.

Kuyt knows collecting all three points tomorrow would damage United's chances of winning a record 19th league title.

He told Liverpoolfc.tv: "It's another thing. No one here at Liverpool wants to see them winning another league title but the main thing for us is to win our own games.

"It's a big rivalry. It's my fourth season at the club so I know what it means. I know how it feels when we beat them and hopefully we can do it again on Sunday.

"Winning the last three games against them shows this team can do it. Everyone knows things haven't gone as we wanted over the last couple of months but that's behind us.

"We've had a good week so far and if we get the same result as we did last year in Manchester then it will turn into a fantastic week. If we play like we did against Lille and Portsmouth, I'm sure we have a chance.

"It's a very big game because our aim is the top four. We really need the three points and we have to go for it.

"To finish in the top four you have to concentrate on yourself and win your games, starting on Sunday. If we carry on playing like this we have a chance to win every game."
