Kuszczak happy with Man Utd role

Tomasz Kuszczak is delighted with his new contract at Manchester United.

In his blog for manutd.com, the Polish goalkeeper wrote: "I'm very pleased to be staying in Manchester for at least another four years. This is a great opportunity for a young goalkeeper like me to prove myself and play big games with big players. But the hardest job isn't playing matches, it's working every day on the training ground.

"I know my position as number two goalkeeper isn't easy. Sometimes I have to wait three or four weeks for an opportunity and then I have to produce a good performance. I always have to be ready - every game is important when we're fighting for the Champions League and the Premier League.

"Nothing changes in my mind because of my new contract - I will continue to work hard, be prepared and wait for my chance to play. The one thing I want is to play football, regularly."
