West Ham midfielder Mohammed Kudus was delighted scoring in their Europa League win against Backa Topola.

Kudus struck a first goal for the club in the 3-1 win.

He later said: "I think we want to go from the first minute of the first game and control it. The winning mentality from the team was all good. We did what the coach told us and we got the result.

"We dominated the game in the first half but weren't able to score.

"For me, I think we knew what we were doing, whether we were down or up. We kept the same mentality, we do what we do best and the result comes after.

"I am here to help the team and as you can see today we got the three points.

"It feels like I've been here for a long time already, everybody has made me feel like part of the family. I just do what the coach tells me.

"The most important thing is we're winning."
