Niko Kranjcar admits he is 'shocked' by the transfer fee set by Tottenham.
The Croatian midfielder is edging closer towards a White Hart Lane departure this summer but feels that the North London's asking price is making a potential move much more difficult.
"I'm shocked about the transfer fee set for me," Kranjcar told SportskeNovosti.
"It's a price that cools down everybody who is interested. It doesn't matter if the price is in pounds or euros.
"A fee between 10 million and 15m is just too much for everybody.
"If Tottenham would be happy with 6.7 million [£6m], we could all be happy. But if they keep asking for so much money no one will buy me."
Kranjcar, who has been linked with both AS Roma and Liverpool, revealed that Dynamo Kiev were showing considerable interest but the transfer fee priced them out of making any offers.
"I know that Dynamo Kiev were interested in buying me, but when they were told about my asking price talks just stopped," he added.
