Kolo Toure has accepted a hefty pay-cut to make the move to Liverpool.
After returning to the UK with Manchester City on Sunday, he headed to Merseyside for talks. He underwent his medical at Liverpool's Spire Hospital with club doctor Zaf Iqbal yesterday before meeting with managing director Ian Ayre to sort out personal terms.
Toure agreed a two-year deal with the defender delighted to have his future sorted before heading off on holiday.
The Liverpool Echo says in moving to Anfield, the Ivory Coast international, who earns around £90,000 per week at City, has taken a significant pay cut.
