Sead Kolasinac is delighted with his move to Atalanta.

The fullback has joined La Dea from Olympique Marseille, signing a deal to 2025 plus a 12 month option.

Former Arsenal defender Kolasinac said: "I think Atalanta is a fantastic club. I have spoken to the directors and I have followed the team in recent years, where they have done particularly well. Therefore I was very happy when I learned of the interest of the club and now I'm very happy to play for this club."

Have you spoken to coach Gian Piero Gasperini?

"Yes, he told me that the style of play is similar to the one I played last year at Olympique Marseille. He told me he's very happy with my arrival and now that I'm here, I'm also very happy. Not I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone, especially the team, and I can't wait to start training."

What are your goals?

"First of all I want to improve from a personal point of view, but above all I also want to help the team as much as possible. This is my goal."

What are your first impressions?

"The first impression was that everyone was very welcoming to me. The sports center is very nice, I walked around and was impressed by the way it looks. I can't wait to get started."
