Koeman demanded dithering Everton meet Man Utd price for Schneiderlin

Everton boss Ronald Koeman demanded they not haggle with Manchester United over Morgan Schneiderlin's price last week.

Koeman told Everton owners Farhad Moshiri and Bill Kenwright that the 27-year-old's capture was a priority but became increasingly frustrated at the lack of progress once the January transfer window opened.

United insisted they wouldn't do business unless they received £24million for the French international that Koeman had set his sights on signing, says the Sunday Mirror.

Everton's opening bids were nowhere near the asking price and Koeman snapped telling the Everton hierarchy to pay the necessary fee or risk losing the player. In the end he got his way.
