Zat Knight has sung the praises of Aston Villa teammate Ashley Young ahead of today's big match at Everton.

"Ashley has been excellent. His assists for some of our goals have been amazing," he told Villa's website.

"He has gone quiet for periods of games but when he has got hold of the ball he's always been capable of making things happen.

"He's a real old fashioned winger who likes to get at players but he can tackle, he passes well, he scores goals and he's super at free-kicks. He has been superb this season and long may that continue.

"We have had a lot of joy going forward and all credit to John and Gabby for that too. They must be a nightmare to deal with - combining pace and strength. John is a brilliant centre-forward - leads the line well and bullies defenders. We see that every day in training."
