Former Barcelona and Newcastle striker Patrick Kluivert is poised to be named the new coach of Caribbean island Curacao, according to local media. The Curacao Chronicle reports that Kluivert, whose mother hails from Curacao, is due to be unveiled on the island today.
The 38 year old was assistant to Louis van Gaal with the Dutch national team until Van Gaal's move to Manchester United.
He was also linked with the Ross County manager's job - a role that ultimately went to Jim McIntyre.
