Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has also been talking about who wears the captain's armband.
A few eyebrows were raised when Emre Can was named captain for the Swansea game as he is out of contract this summer.
"Jordan Henderson is our captain, if he's not on the pitch Milly (James Milner) is captain.
"On the pitch you need to share responsibility. It was not my plan to give it (to many different players). This club, it's maybe a bit different as Stevie (Gerrard) was captain for 25 years or so," said Klopp.
On the future of Danny Ings, Klopp added: "Doing really well and the fact we don't give him a loan shows our plans with him. Physically (he's) completely there - I can't remember (the) last session he wasn't there.
"Maybe if he could go somewhere where he could start (the) next 20 games would it be good for him? But we need to think about our needs."
