Ragnar Klavan has welcomed the arrival of Virgil van Dijk at Liverpool, even though it means increased competition at the heart of the side's defence, reports Sky Sports.
The 32-year-old Estonian scored a 94th-minute winner to secure Liverpool all three points away to Burnley on Monday, but his playing time could be curtailed with the £75m signing of Van Dijk from Southampton.
However, Klavan is relishing the challenge, saying: "He is a good addition to our team. It is like it is for everyone: there is competition and competition is good for all places."
