Davy Klaassen has explained leaving Ajax for Inter Milan.

The veteran midfielder admits they moved in opposite paths over the summer.

“Ajax took another path at that moment. This was the reason why I also made this decision," the veteran said on the Cor Potcast.

“Ajax remains my club. I would have liked to stay and help them.

"However, I had the feeling that I no longer have anything to achieve at the club."
