Dave Kitson says Stoke City can use their low profile to an advantage this season.
"It is massively important that you play to your strengths, and when you think that we are now competing with the likes of Manchester United, you have to wonder how much they know about us.
"Money wise we aren't going to be able to compete with the top four teams, but then again they don't know what to expect when they play us and that will be one of the major factors.
"You can go up and enjoy yourselves or you can roll over and compete.
"I don't want to sit around and have a good time, I want to help move this club forward, which is what the rest of the lads want to do too.
"I've said this before, but If I didn't believe we could compete I wouldn't be here."
