Kisel delighted to be back with Sydney, the 'club of his heart'

Slovakian midfielder Karol Kisel says he is delighted to return to Sydney FC after almost a year away from the club.

The 33-year old was a vital member of the Sky Blues side which took out the 2009/10 A-LeaguePremiership/Championship double but was not offered a new contract at the end of the season.

He returned to the Czech Republic to play with Slavia Prague but has now signed a one-year deal which will see him again saddle up in a Sydney shirt, this time for the 2011/12 season.

He said it was a great feeling to come back to the club he loves so dearly.

"I am very excited to be coming back to Sydney FC. Sydney FC is the club of my heart," Kisel said.

"My season there in 2009/10 was amazing for me and the club. I have so many special memories of that year and made many good friends so to be returning is fantastic for me.

"My family and I love the club and the city is beautiful. We feel very comfortable there and it such a magical place to live.

"I have stayed in touch with some people from the club, including Vitja, and I always feel part of Sydney FC.

"This season has been tough on everyone but I am excited about coming back and I want to help lead the team to more success.

"I had a good year this year in Prague and also finished off my studies so coming to Sydney caps off a great time in my life."
