Kenny Dalglish has gone cold on the idea of taking the manager's job at Liverpool.
The Daily Star Sunday says club ambassador and former manager Dalglish is said to have cooled his interest in stepping into the Anfield hot seat again.
The Liverpool legend is more likely to continue in his current capacity at the club.
But Dalglish is being backed to take over by former Reds boss Roy Evans.
Evans said: "Kenny has been the leader before so maybe we need him again - but it depends if Kenny really wants it."
