Tottenham defender Ledley King isn't ready to retire just yet.

The Daily Mail says King will put his troublesome knee to the test before deciding whether to retire this summer.

But the Tottenham stalwart will be offered a coaching role at the club should he decide to hang up his boots.

King's current Spurs contract officially expires on Sunday and he has yet to sign fresh terms.

And the central-defender - whose career has been ravaged by knee problems - will see how his body holds up to the rigours of pre-season before making decision on whether to retire.
