The 27-year-old will leave the relegated club at the end of the season and has been linked with both Aberdeen and St Mirren.
However, Killie boss Jim Jefferies has already discussed terms with the midfielder and Skelton admitted he could be tempted by a move to Rugby Park.
"It's flattering to be linked with clubs. I've spoken to Mr Jefferies briefly and it was a positive chat," said Skelton.
"What he had to say interested me a lot and we'll see how things go in the next few weeks."
