Manchester City assistant manager Brian Kidd has listed Carlos Tevez's attributes which make him such an outstanding performer. Kidd believes the Argentinean's innate scoring ability, allied to an outstanding work ethic, makes the City striker indispensable.
The Argentina international scored a quick-fire hat-trick on his 27th birthday against West Bromwich Albion on Saturday.
That took his tally in the 3-0 victory to 20 goals for the season, 18 in the Barclays Premier League.
Kidd said: "Carlos was tremendous again. You know what you get with him. Every time the bell rings he is out there.
"He is a first class, fantastic player. He is a nuisance to centre halves. He never stops, he never gives them a minute's rest.
"He leads by example. That's why he was made captain. He has been fantastic since he's been at the club."
