Aberdeen midfielder Mark Kerr has joined Greek club Asteras. The 28-year-old has penned a three-year contract with the First Division outfit.

Kerr has never played outside of Scotland after spending time at Falkirk, Dundee United and the Dons.

"I am very pleased to continue my career in Greece and look forward to playing for Asteras," said Kerr.

"I know there are many good players in Greece. What I can promise at this time is to give 100 per cent of my effort in each match."
