West Bromwich Albion No2 Kevin Keen says there's no plans to spend big this month.
Steve Clarke will reassess his squad to see if there is any call to consider dipping into the January transfer market.
"Perhaps after today we'll have to reassess," Keen told the Albion website.
"But up until today we were quite happy with what we've got, as long as we didn't lose too many and there were no surprises.
"We'll have a little look after today and reassess again.
"George Thorne has come in as a 20-year-old and gone to Old Trafford and done well.
"And he's done fantastically today.
"I think if we can promote players like that it would be more in our favour.
"There are no imminent plans to make a marquee signing - that's for sure."
