Blackburn Rovers boss Steve Kean feels his players respond better when they're under pressure.
Kean felt a 'backs to the wall' attitude paid dividends in the second half against Blackpool and has called for a repeat of that mentality as they approach the matches ahead - even if he would rather Rovers' forthcoming fixtures were a little less nerve-wracking.
"I hope it is not going to be like that for the last eight games," he told the Lancashire Telegraph.
"I would just like to get a comfortable clean sheet and three points, and that is what we will be working towards.
"I think it would be more exciting if you were 10th and could look down on everyone. But maybe the position we are in adds an edge.
"When there is massive responsibility on the lads to get something to make sure we are moving in the right direction, sometimes that gives an edge and you get performances like that."
