Steve Kean will urge Blackburn Rovers owners to stick with him for their Championship campaign next season.
The Mirror says Kean will plead for his job when he meets Blackburn's owners this weekend.
The Rao family will attend already-relegated Rovers' final game of the season at Chelsea on Sunday, after swerving the fan fury that surrounded Monday night's loss to Wigan, which confirmed their drop into the Championship.
Kean will meet the owners, who also own poultry suppliers Venky's, to discuss the club's future, and will beg to be allowed to carry on as manager.
