Blackburn Rovers boss Steve Kean wants to bring back legend Colin Hendry to the relegated club.

The former Manchester City defender won the Premier League title with Rovers.

Indian owners Venky's are still considering whether to sack their manager after Blackburn were relegated from the Premier League, but Kean hopes to create a degree of stability by inviting Hendry onto his back-room team, says the Daily Mail.

The 46-year-old made 399 appearances for Rovers and helped the club lift the Premier League title in 1995.
