Karlsruhe striker Kennedy ponders future

Josh Kennedy is seeking answers to why he suddenly cannot get a game with struggling Bundesliga club Karlsruhe. The Socceroos striker has recently been left out of the squad but is hoping he gain selection soon so he can find some form ahead of important matches for Australia.

Kennedy says it's not the first time he has experienced misfortunes in his career.

"I've had plenty of ups and downs in my eight years in Germany and unfortunately this one of the lower times," he told The World Game.

"I'm not getting much of a run at all and I'll have a chat with the coach this week to try and sort things out and see where we both stand.

"The team haven't been winning many games and not playing fantastic football either, so I dare say he might look at changing things around and hopefully he will use me again, whether it's next week, or in three or four weeks.

"Hopefully I'll get some game time and keep myself fit for Australia."
