Borussia Dortmund winger Karim Matmour is interesting Villarreal.
The Algeria international's form this season and attracted the attention of clubs across Europe, including Villarreal and Fenerbahce.
Matmour came through the youth system at Freiburg and is contracted to Dortmund until 2012.
