Karim Benzema wants to LEAVE Al-Ittihad over Nuno rift

Karim Benzema wants to LEAVE Al-Ittihad after falling out with coach Nuno, it has been revealed.

The Real Madrid great doesn't see eye-to-eye with Nuno, says Al-Sharq Al-Awsat, and has instructed his agent to find him "a solution" as quickly as possible. This could involve movig to another Saudi Pro League club.

Benzema kicked off his time with Al-Ittihad with a bang, scoring three goals in his first three games, but his form has since fallen away.

The Frenchman felt slighted after being overlooked for the captaincy by Nuno, while the coach is unhappy with the veteran's arrival.

The Portuguese was seeking younger recruits and believes the team cannot carry ageing pair Benzema and N'Golo Kante. Indeed, it's suggested Nuno urged the board NOT to sign the striker.

Benzema is aware of Nuno's attitude and so has instructed his agent to find him a new club.
