Kante hails Chelsea battling qualities to earn Liverpool draw: We are united

Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante felt they can be happy with the point earned at Liverpool on Saturday.

After going behind to a second-half strike from Mohamed Salah, it took a late equaliser from Willian – who lobbed Simon Mignolet from wide on the right – to earn Chelsea a share of the spoils.

Kante was glad the positive reaction to going behind was rewarded and is already looking ahead to the home game against Swansea on Wednesday night.

"I think it's a good point," said the Frenchman. "It was a difficult game against a tough team. I think we had the best chances but we didn't score. They had most of the ball, but we defended together and we are happy with the point.

"I think we deserved to score a goal. We are happy for Willian and we are happy for us. I don't know if he meant it, you will have to ask him, but we are happy for the goal and I think we deserved it.

"This was one point against a good team. Next we have Swansea at home on Wednesday and we have to get back in the winning way."
