Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante insists that the West London club are not looking too far into the future and are taking a game-by-game approach.

The Blues defeated Sunderland 1-0 on Wednesday night to register their 10th consecutive win in the Premier League.

Antonio Conte's men have now opened up a six-point lead at the summit of the table.

"We are confident but we are working hard to win every game and in this moment we are doing well and hope to keep going," Kante told Sky Sports.

"We take it game-by-game, week-after-week.

"Everyone knows a game in the Premier League is not easy, everything can happen in a game and we have to keep working hard."
