Kansas City Wizards have agreed terms with Indian national team forward Sunil Chhetri.

Reports suggest that the club is close to signing the 25-year old who has been a star of India's I-League for the past eight seasons pending approval of his visa and International Transfer Certificate.

Chhetri is a past winner of the All India Football Federation Player of the Year and also went on trial with Enlish club Coventry City in 2008.
