Tottenham striker Harry Kane was delighted with Spurs' performance in the 4-1 win over West Ham United despite the disappointment of not scoring a hat-trick at White Hart Lane.
The 22-year-old scored a brace in the win but was gutted after missing a glorious opportunity from a one-on-situation as the North Londoners stretched their unbeaten streak to 12 matches.
"That was probably the best performance we have had this season," Kane said.
"As a striker when your confidence is high you feel like you're going to score every game. I enjoy the atmosphere of these games and today I could have had a couple more.
"I tried to put my foot through a chance just before the break and probably got a bit excited. I'll be punching myself that I didn't get the hat-trick. But the most important thing is we're winning by playing well."
