Chelsea's Ivory Coast striker Salomon Kalou admits their title chances may be hit by African Nations Cup commitments.
"It is a difficult situation as a player. You have to leave your team-mates and you know that sometimes they will need you while you're away to help them achieve the goals of the team," said Kalou.
"Naturally I will be excited to go because it is always an honour to play for your country and I'm really happy about that.
"And also it will be my first international championship which will be exciting and a good experience. But at the same time it won't be easy to leave the club while the season is still on.
